Céad míle fáilte-“one hundred thousand welcomes”- to all our visitors. Welcome to the official website of Tralee/Kerry International Children’s Games Ltd. We hope that you enjoy our experiences at the International Children’s Games since 2005 and will support our goal of hosting the International Children’s Games and Cultural Festival in Kerry in 2015.
Kerry has been represented at the Games by teams drawn from Tralee and its environs since the Coventry Games of 2005. Following those Games a local voluntary committee of parents and interested persons was established with two main objectives:
- Maintain continued participation at the Games on an annual basis.
- Promote Tralee and Kerry as a suitable venue to host the Games and Cultural Festival within a 10 year time frame
Tralee has participated at Coventry, Bangkok, Reykjavik, San Francisco, Athens and Bahrain since 2005. Over 120 children have represented Kerry and Ireland at these Games in that time.
